Now in our 33rd year, WMVL 88.1FM is the radio station of Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.  Our airplay covers everything from Rap to Pop, Jazz to House, Country to Loud Rock; WMVL is a free-form station run and managed by students and students only.  Our DJs must apply for an internship and complete training before attaining their own show.  Once they pass their air tests, they are free to expresss themselves through the music of their choice. 

WMVL deals with numerous promotion companies and charts its airplay to CMJ.  With our 5 watts of transmission power, we can reach the Manhattanville community and more!.  WMVL also streams its broadcasting via Quicktime and we can be heard nation-wide. 

We occasionally throw some parties like it’s our job  - and that’s because it is.  We do everything we can to make sure we meet our listeners and DJs stay happy.  Input, as always, is more than welcome.
